Classes:

Our next class will be Thursday, April 19th. Our topic will be cooking using your food storage ingredients. For this class we are trying to put together a Food Storage Recipe Book. But we need your help... please send us your 100% shelf stable, food storage recipes. They should include only ingredients from your food storage and your pantry (or if they include fresh ingredients like milk or eggs please include the food storage substitutions). Send one recipe or lots of recipes and they can cover any meal from breakfast to dessert. Email recipes to Cherish Kallis at skalli@yahoo.com. Thank you to those who have already sent recipes, we are excited to put this cookbook together.

Cannery:

Thursday, May 3rd is our Cannery Trip. I know you are thinking that is a couple months away, but your order forms need to be in by April 1st and that is only a few weeks away. Please don't wait to get your orders in, plan now to go with us to the Cannery. A sign-up sheet will be passed around in Relief Society to get a rough head count of sisters who are interested in attending, identify sisters willing to carpool/caravan, and to match sisters willing to babysit with those with children who are willing to can. Get your orders to Amber Brunson at amber.brunson@gmail.com before Sunday, April 1st. The deadlines regarding the Cannery are stricter for this year. You must have your order in on time or it cannot be processed for the month you are interested in and you will need to attend the Cannery the following month.
